Where you see a sewer,
we see connectivity.

Say goodbye to tradtional network construction that plagues city streets. With CityNet's revolutionary in-sewer network deployment, you can wire your city with a state-of-the-art fiber-optic network in a matter of months, not years. No more carrier construction issues. No more snarled traffic. Just fiber-optic last-mile connections that enable your city's businesses to go about their business.

As part of our patented in-sewer installation process and our agreements with the city, CityNet completes any necessary sewer mapping and shares it with the sewer operator. Next, we work closely with telecom carriers, network service providers and the city wastewater systems department to determine which sewers will be used for the last-mile network. Selected sewer lines are then flushed and cleaned, and any cracks, leaks or flaws are repaired before installation. It's only then that our sewer robot "SAM" is deployed through manholes into the sewer pipes to install the conduit and cables. The installation is quiet and unfolds mostly at night, beneath the streets, while the city sleeps.

Once installed, the CityNet rings occupy less than 5% of the overall sewer system, and less than 3% of the sewer pipes we wire. Our process is completely non-invasive and non-intrusive to the structure of the sewer pipes, eliminating any chance of leaching, leaks or I/O that may otherwise occur from drilling or other invasive methods. Our rings also have even been shown to add structural integrity to the pipes we wire.

Once we've installed our network, we remain a part of the local community. Ongoing, we monitor and clean the sewer lines where CityNet fiber cable has been installed.

CityNet's revolutionary in-sewer network deployment replaces costly street trenching.
